What's up!!? I'm Jeff and I've been playing drums since 7 years of age. I never thought God would use me in a band and allow me to have so much fun, but isn't that what being a christian is all about? I was one of the lucky ones in the world today. You see I was brought up in a christian home with parents that taught me how important this man Jesus, is to every aspect in my life. As a youth I sang in a trio at my church in Wilson , NC. I gave my life to God on October 31, 1974...that's right on Halloween.
Once I graduated from high school, the world showed it's face to me in a new way. Without my parents there to keep me on the right path, I bacame lost. I didn't stay focused on that man Jesus, that so many had taught me about. He was still there, but never called on him. I was too busy tying to be cool and fit in with my friends. Just as the prodicle son, I came home. God gave me a second chance and I thank Him daily.
A little over 8 years ago, God formed the ministry FEED. I never thought God would reveal so much of his infinite glory and wisdom. In Psalms 55:9 it says "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts." You see, when you surrender totally to God, it is his way, his thoughts, it is all about his will. In this imperfect world in which we live, it's hard enough to try to keep your own life in order. God gives us a charge that we should live our lives as a reflection of His son Jesus Christ. If the only way the world could see Jesus was through you, would they like what they see?
My challenge to you is to let the Son shine! Reflect the light of the world. Be a servant to the greatest King I know,,, JESUS CHRIST! So let us all be good shepards and FEED his sheep.
